SMCI® provides comprehensive professional and technical screening of all candidates and accurately represents their skills and experience.

SMCI® personnel are active in disclosing all known relevant information regarding a candidate.

SMCI® personnel always obtain a candidate’s approval prior to representing him or her to a client and exercise due diligence to ensure that the individual is not being represented by a competing firm.

SMCI® personnel are ethically and contractually bound to protect a client’s confidential and proprietary information.

SMCI® personnel are prohibited from paying finders’ fees, commissions, or any other consideration to any employee or agent of a client and always ensure that they are in compliance with a client’s policies relating to gifts and gratuities.

SMCI® personnel strictly refrain from recruiting or soliciting a client’s employees and contractors.

Candidate and Consultant Relationships
- SMCI® personnel provide accurate and complete information to candidates regarding contracting assignments and client positions and continue to provide this information to its consultants for the duration of their assignments.
- SMCI® personnel actively encourage candidates to make full disclosures regarding ability to perform in the positions for which they have been presented to our clients.
- SMCI® personnel will not induce a consultant to leave an assignment before its completion and always exercise due diligence with prospective consultants to determine if their current assignment is coming to a normal end.
- SMCI® maintains written policies for the payment of consultants and accurately represents payment terms, the length and nature of a contract assignment, and other subjects pertinent to the business relationship between a consultant, an SMCI® client and SMCI®. All consultant relationships are governed by written agreements.
